Spoon me says that their yogurt they use in each smoothie is all natural, fat free, and with 90 calories per serving. They try to “Go Green” in anyway they can. They say their spoons, cups, straws, and napkins are 100% biodegradable in 90 days. They also say they like to reach out to the community they are in- which was apparent by their partnership in the fundraiser.

If you follow Spoon me on Facebook, they also have a "Name of the Day". If they choose your name then you get a 2 for 1 deal!

They have a few flavors you can order, or you can get a custom shake in large or small. There are 2 kinds of yogurt, natural (plain white) or acai (Brazilian berry). They also have a variety of fresh fruits that they will mix in. They have grapes, pineapple, strawberries, bananas, kiwi, and tons more.

Once you pick your size, yogurt, and mix-ins, they will blend it with either milk or orange juice.

I got a pineapple, strawberry, kiwi, natural yogurt and orange juice. I probably should have been braver and tried something less “safe” for me, but oh well. At first the flavor wasn’t my favorite, and in fact I was a little disappointed that I hadn’t just donated my $5 to the SEED fundraiser and gove without the shake. I put it in my fridge when I got home, and got it out for a midnight snack. The flavor must have grown on me, or I was super hungry because it wasn’t that bad.

Overall i’d have to say I think it’s cool that they are “going green” and do all that recycling and whatnot but I would much rather just go to Jamba Juice and pay less to get more. Perhaps I need to try another flavor at Spoon Me, which i’m not opposed to, but lately i’ve been feeling cheap. So next time my $5 is going to an Aloha Pineapple Jamba Juice.
